Breathing Apparatus Training

Clean air is a key goal for WorkSafe and an area of focus.  Respirators and breathing apparatus in high risk environments is essential and so to is the ability to use them. To provide the user the skills, knowledge and understanding to correctly maintain, operate and wear compressed air breathing apparatus.

Who should attend

Workers required to wear compressed air breathing apparatus (CABA) in or escape from irrespirable atmospheres.

Minimum of 8 trainees and a Maximum of 10 trainees per programme

Course fees

$285.00 + GST per person

Course costs include all learning materials and completion certificate. Costs also include registration of unit standard credits with NZQA. 

Equipment requirements

On-site courses may require an extra charge for the hire of BA equipment.
