Back Injury Prevention

Back injuries are a leading cause of lost time injury in NZ, often it is because the worker does not have the knowledge to change behaviours and prevent injury. This back injury prevention course is to provide training that enables an understanding of the the causes of back injury in the workplace and strategies to help prevent them. This course is about reducing risk in your organisation through increasing worker awareness and knowledge.

Who should attend

This training is designed for any worker who is involved in planning and/or undertaking manual handling,  including bending, lifting and carrying heavy object. You may also be interested in the Manual Handling Training course.
